Enchanted Rock, Texas

Enchanted Rock, or E-Rock, is a place of magic and mystery steeped in legend. This massive pink granite dome provides breathtaking panoramic views, making it one of my favorite destinations to explore and paint. Archaeological evidence suggests it was home to some of Texas's earliest inhabitants 10,000 to 12,000 years ago. Native Americans regarded it as a haunted, sacred, or magical site, giving rise to its evocative name, Enchanted Rock.
